Smiitaa Chatterjee was born and brought up in Mumbai. She worked in a reputed Bank for 24 years and then resigned to continue her passion of painting and trekking.
You will see the impact of nature and wildlife in few of her paintings as she travels a lot and also does wildlife photography. Her recent paintings are the results of her practice and hard work of many years.
She remembers her first prize among all five classes, a lunch box, in 2nd standard . She has been drawing and painting since then. She has been into Oil Paintings for more than 15 years. Her paintings are for sale on a few Art Selling Websites. She also does Acrylic Paintings but her first love is working with Oil Paints.
Other than Oil and Acrylic Paintings, she is also a Resin Artist. Smiitaa Chatterjee is an artist and trekker by heart.
